Invest between NZ$ 5-15 million
To meet the NZ$ 15 million investment threshold, the following assets can be invested in and weighted accordingly:
- DIRECT INVESTMENT, into an approved business. Weighting – 3 x $1 invested so minimum investment NZ$5m
- MANAGED FUNDS, a private equity or venture capital fund that has been approved by the fund’s management. Weighting – 2 x $1 so minimum investment NZ$7.5m
- LISTED EQUITIES & PHILANTHROPY, Weighting – 1 x $1 invested and split 50/50 (NZ$7.5m) between the two so minimum investment NZ$15m
REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements must be met for applicants to qualify for residence:

Within a four-year period, invest NZ$ 5 million to NZ$ 15 million

Be in good health and have a good reputation

During the four-year residence period, spend 117 days in New Zealand

Demonstrate proficiency in the English language
